My Story
I’m Lauren Cranmer, Your Wellnurse! I’m a LEO wife and mom of two amazing children and two gigantic dogs! I am a jiu jitsu black belt. In fact, my husband and I met at our bjj academy. I am also a breast cancer while pregnant survivor and thriver. My daughter was my chemo baby. She went through surgery and chemotherapy with me while I was pregnant. Since going through that experience, I’ve rediscovered so much about what health truly means and what is most important in life. I became an advocate for preventative health and living well and true to oneself. My passion keeps growing stronger and so does my conviction for using my lessons learned to help and empower others.
I am a Registered Nurse. When I first went to college, I earned a B.A. in Visual Communications. While I love creating, I knew I needed to do more to serve and help make a difference in the lives of others. I decided to go back to school while working full time to become a Registered Nurse.
When I started my nursing career, I began working bedside at the hospital. I quickly learned how truly broken the hospital system is. Once I chose to leave, I went on to become a fertility nurse, ASRM Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. This was one of the best decisions of my life. Women’s health has always been extremely important to me. Practicing holistically and helping women and couples through their individual journeys was so meaningful. I truly connected with my patients and I believe I really made a difference in their experience. It was where my heart was.
Then as I became a patient going through breast cancer during pregnancy, I saw an even larger gap between medical care vs true health care and support.
After I finished active treatment, I was physically and mentally exhausted. Chemotherapy, pregnancy, radiation, ongoing medications, surgeries, etc. depleted my body and mind. I wanted to feel better, have energy, and simply be as healthy as possible for myself but especially for my family. So, I dove deep into healing, learning, and getting back to the basics: prioritizing nutrition, exercise, sleep, mental peace, gratitude, eliminating toxins, the list truly goes on. I saw what this did for me and it became my mission to help others feel their best as well.
My mission is to serve true support in health and wellness. I’m here to educate and provide whole person, compassionate support for women through their unique health experiences.
